CSI #133 - Life is Sweet

I’m back, baby!

Very glad to have found this lovely case for the week at CSI.
LIFE IS SWEET

TESTIMONY – inspiration words: delight and simple
This photo is special to me.  As my journaling states, we were on a road trip in Norway, where we made an unplanned stop.  There was a little park, and the simplicity of something so common together with my kids gave meaning to what little time we got to play.  It was completely unexpected, but I will treasure that moment forever.

EVIDENCE
There is a tree stamped next to my journaling, and I have used a vertical strip of polka dot paper along with splashes of hot pink watercolor and circles of white acrylic paint.

All five colors have been used.

And the lovely Case File...

Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend!

Happy Birthday Gaute!

My husband celebrated his birthday on Friday. Here are the cards we made from me and the boys.
Johan's card - his dad is his piano class buddy...

...Emilio's card has a photo of him from Norway...

...and I made him this card with a song by Louis Jacoby...also note the use of my beautiful bunad ribbons ;)

I used a cancelled stamp from his hometown - Haugesund ;)

Sukkersött Summer Challenge #2 - Lift

Here's my entry for the Sukkersött Summer Challenge #2. I've lifted a great LO from the wonderful Anne Kristine. I was inspired by her simple nature settings that are always worthy of scrapping...

Norway 2008

My current major project: Organizing / scrapbooking just a few vacation photos:

Norway 2008

Emilio and Johan - Langfoss...

Me with Johan - in Etne

My parents - loving EVERY MINUTE!

Aurland - This may very well be God's official address.

Now THIS is a lunch break!

My mother - Hardanger anyone?

Vøringfossen - breathtaking! But it still gave me the willies...

I loved just breathing in the beautiful scenery on our entire road trip. The best part was enjoying it in the company of the people I love.

I will share more in the coming days...Have a great weekend!
