Autumn in the City

Hello!

Autumn in the City is the Challenge at the Freetany Flowers Blog.

I have made an 8” x 8” canvas.

I thought that the Falling in Love Collection from ScrapMir would be perfect for this lovely couple (Ana & Diego).

This is the MoodBoard from which the color palette and flowers are required elements.

I was also inspired by the berries, pumpkins, and leaves.

I have used the sketch from the Charmed Scrap Blog this month, and I will also join that Challenge.

I started out with this lovely chip from ArtLines.

CB129

I will also join ThePassage of Time Challenge 36 at the LadyBug Blog. Cutting and Chip are required, as well as a clock/watch.

The following LadyBug dies were used:

The heart die cut and "imagine" chippie were coated with the same metallic paint. They look different because the heart was cut out of brown cardstock. The chip was first primed with white gesso.

And a couple of close-ups...

I'm sorry that the photo doesn’t really capture the shimmer correctly.

I was happy with the results, as I normally shy away from the mixed media department. I see any stamping, ink, or paint, and, I don't know, I'm like a monkey with a banana!!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Magic Forest

Hello!

I have an Autumn Mini-Chocolate Box with a Mushroom Theme.

I think of Mushrooms as the Norwegian Trolls of the forest. There are good ones, and there are bad ones. My ancestors used mushrooms as hallucinogens. One can only imagine the magical super powers.

I will participate in the Mushroom Challenge at the VSC Blog.

I have die cut a brown background that I have also heat embossed with just dabs of gold

I have also die cut some brown LadyBug Spikelets (0029).

And did you know that this “slice from the tree” is called a “tree cookie”? And that is my chip element for the Gold Ingot Challenge at the LadyBugBlog, where I will add my Chocolate Box. I have also added gold beads.

For the 3/9Challenge at the Yar-Sk Blog, I have chosen the diagonal line having used lace, an inscription, and spray/splash/splatter of white paint.

Thank you so much for visiting!

Welcome Baby Girl!

Hello!

I'm out of Summer Hybernation with a money envelope for a Baby Girl. I have used the So Loved Collection from ScrapMir.

Everyone is familiar with this embossing powder; white with chunks of gold, and either blue or pink powder. I wanted that, but with some bright pink to bring out the pink in the paper.

This lovely mix of baby chip is from ScrapBox.

The powders don’t actually mix together, which was a good surprise.

I will add my card to the ScrapClubEk Chip Challenge.

I made my own flower with a circle of pink/white gingham fabric. It’s finished with a pink button in the center.

I have a pink mini-crocheted ring, a pink fabric flower from SweetScrap Shop strung with tulle, some lace from Blagolis, cross-stitch floss (to hang the charm/pearl/crystals) ribbon, and décor leaves from AllmaCraft

I will join the Tactile/Textile Challenge at the VSKBlog.

Along with the Flowers and Lace, they make the Left Vertical line of the Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge at Скрап-просторы.

The patterned paper flower is made with AgiArt die Agi1018, and I will add my card to their October Gallery.

I just love the crown for the Little Princess!

.
I put a card inside to include a message.

Thank you so much for visiting!
