Scrappekammeret #1 - MOTHER

The inspiration for the first challenge at Scrappekammeret is Mother/Mom.
Here's my entry for the NEW challenge blog. I've made a little basket with M&Ms and a gift card to the bookstore. Although we don't celebrate Mothers Day here until the second Sunday in May, I'm getting a good headstart. This will be for one of my sisters.

Sukkersött #71 - Valentine Baileys

What do you do with all those little bottles you get from the airplane?

The challenge at Sukkersött this week is to "Valentine" something.
I've seen some little milk cartons that I've had in mind for these little bottles, but couldn't find a template...

So, I made my own!
Here's my entry.

I did not use the little bottles I had because:

-I didn't have two that matched

-I saw a six-pack of these little Baileys at the grocery store

-The ones from the grocery store are larger bottles AND still fit into my carton!

-(And Baileys is delicious too!)

Cute Card Thursday #98 - Spots and Dots #2

It is birthday season in my family, so Cute Card Thursday is really helping me out! The sponsor there this week is Phindy's Place. And let me tell you, Phindy's got some really gorgeous stamps! I got this little mouse there, and the card is for my sister's birthday.

"Happy Birthday Little Strawberry!" is on the little banner in Spanish...

Ett trykk - February Challenge

Here's my entry to the February challenge at my favorite magazine ;)

...and this is the sketch provided

Happy Birthday Nora!

This was me at age 6.
I am very blessed and thankful that I am celebrating another year. I know that God loves me because He has given me a wonderful family that I love so much. I still have both my parents who are healthy and happy. My brothers and sisters are the best friends that anyone could ever have. Nine nieces and nephews offer an enlightening (and sometimes frightening) view of a life so different than when we were their age. I am blessed with a wonderful husband and two beautiful boys who make me smile every day. We have been blessed with great times and a few curve balls here and there, but God has always been with us. For His love, compassion, kindness, and mercy, I am thankful.

Sketchy Colors #9 - The Little Pizza

Who ordered the Very Small Pizza?

This is my entry for this week's sketch at Sketchy Colors: Red / Black.

I've made a little pizza box (4" x 4") as a Valentine for my son.
The "card" is a pizza with all the "toppings". The "tray" is a puzzle I've made with thin chipboard covered in patterned paper, using the Quickutz puzzle die.

The subject for the challenge at Basic Grey - Animals.
I've used Basic Grey papers from the Granola collection...
