Colour Create Challenge #41 - PASTELS

I've made another Apron Card with a template from the Cutting Café. I won the template from the lovely Peet. I've included my favorite Pound Cake recipe inside the envelope I made for the card.

Pastels is the challenge at Colour Create. Here's my entry.

Happy Birthday Emilio !

Happy 13th Birthday Emilio!

I love you very much and I ask God to always go with you and care for you. You are a kind boy with a giant heart and a warm soul. Although you may not always listen to me, I hope you always listen to God with an open mind when He speaks to you. Follow Him and He will always lead you in the right direction.

Te quiere mucho,

♥Mamacita

March 10, 1990 - It was 20 years ago today...

It was 20 years ago today...
...that I married my best friend, Gaute.

"I love you Gaute, and I thank God every day for you. May His love, kindness, grace, compassion, and mercy guide you as you make your way each day. Thank you for your unconditional love and for loving me as I am."

Happy 20th Anniversary Gaute!!!

Basic Grey #14 / Friday Sketchers #91

Here's a card using this week's sketch at Friday Sketchers with the Color Combo at Basic Grey Challenges (Maroon, Pink, and Lemon). I used Dandelion paper from the Lemonade Collection.

StampARTic Sketch Challenge in March

There's a sketch by the charming Marianne for the March challenge at StampARTic.

I was so excited when the fantastic expert and professional, Carola hosted a tutorial on Gesso...in wonderful timing with my Ask the Stamper question about the milky stuff.
Thank you Carola!!!

Although I only used it on one piece of patterned paper (baby steps ;p), it was a great learning experience. I distressed it a little, too! Ooh! As I said in my question to the stamper, I buy many things and often don't know what to do with them. I'm also not the most adventurous scrapper ;)

However, I did make my own flower. There is a great tutorial by the lovely Bev at Whiff of Joy Stamps Tutorials and Inspirations Blog.

I'm really on a roll!
