Scrap the Boys August Challenge

Please DON'T feed the Animals... Chocolate Cake is my entry for the August Challenge at Scrap the Boys.

  1. Hi Nora,

What a beautiful LO! Love the colors and the photo too :) The chocolate cake looks so yummy!

Thanks for stopping by my blog leaving such a nice comment!

You asked about the yellow color on my layout; I have used ink where the yellow is faint and acrylic paint (by KaiserCraft) under the red bow, the flowers and around the photo.

The Ink I've used is VersaColor Marigold & Canari and I used a sponge to apply the ink. (I actually use a piece of foam mattress! It's the greatest "sponge" to use as it makes it easy to add just a little color). I also applied the acrylic paint using the same "sponge". I did not use any water. I just put a drop of paint on a paper plate, and put a small amount of paint on the sponge. I think it helps a lot to use just a small amount of paint, and to use a sponge instead of a brush.

    Hugs, Gunhild :)

Thanks for sweet comments. Wow what a beautiful layout, love all details and colours

  8. I love this! What a photo! A great layout!
